Choosing Between the Xbox and PlayStation Series X

With the release of the new PlayStation and Xbox series X, both brands have begun competing for gamers. For over two decades, these consoles have been arch rivals. While Sony released its own system, the Playstation has been a popular gaming choice. The PlayStation has a diverse library of games, including many exclusives and long-running franchises. Similarly, Xbox has a diverse roster of classics that span several generations.

When choosing a game console, you have a few options. You can buy a new or a used console. You can get a second-hand Xbox for less money than a brand-new one, and you can still play your older games. The new systems have a great number of new games and support for years to come. The older consoles are still good for playing your old favorites. If you’re unsure, try a used version.

The Xbox was designed to be easier to use than its predecessor. Its “Guide” button can be used to power on the console and open up the guide menu. The controllers have a ring-shaped light around the center that tells you the controller number. When it’s connected to the Xbox, the ring turns off. The left and right “shoulders” have analog triggers and digital shoulder buttons.
